Automatic Purchase Dates for Dell & Lenovo Devices 📅
You can now have the purchase date for an asset be set using the warranty start date for the device! This works for all devices covered by our automatic warranty sync (currently Dell and Lenovo devices).
Enable this by going to Settings -> Auto Warranty Sync, turn the Set Asset Purchase Dates to be the Warranty Start Date switch on and click Save. This will enable this for all future assets.
To apply this to your existing assets, go back to Settings -> Auto Warranty Sync after you enabled Set Asset Purchase Dates to be the Warranty Start Date, and you'll see a Apply for All Existing Assets button appear.
You can now also see the Warranty Start Date the Dell/Lenovo Warranty Section for every asset. If you have multiple warranty coverages on a device, the earliest start date will be used as the purchase date for the asset.
